A note:

While the language does point to high traffic areas needing masks, and there are several beyond Main Events, the Den, and Registration, I believe it is simply an oversight of language causing the confusion; Main Events, the Den, and Registration are examples of high traffic areas and not the sole areas.

Our board members with ability to properly address the language for full clarification will be doing so ASAP today to provide better answers.

Well..no..5 to 6 should be more than enough (2 or 3 before 3 after, thats what i do) but it's good to have excess. Then if you do test positive you have enough to test of of isolation

What’s funny is a few months ago I thought I was sick so I called my doctor who told me not to bother with the at home tests and take the PCR test at a local clinic and wait the 72 hours, because “the rapid tests are crap and the home tests are crap”. Turns out I was negative.

Had a cop pull me over during the strict lock down and I showed him my employee badge, told him I was essential. He STILL called my workplace to see if I actually worked there THEN gave me a bs ticket anyway for something arbitrary JUST so he wouldn't look like a jackass.

I fought the ticket which DID force me to break lockdown again and show up in court, but the officer didn't, so I won by default, but the judge wasn't happy about it at all...especially when he saw I'm a combat vet XD

That's the beauty of civil asset forfeiture, the DA doesn't need to get involved. They take a "suspicious" load of cold hard cash and then immediately pass it off to the feds who "investigate" and when the feds determine it's suspicious somehow, the sheriffs or departments get a kickback

Yeah I did the same at FWA, and still got COVID. I'm still impressed that nobody else in my car got it. We were in a car smooshed together (5 of us) for 18 hours and I was the only one who ended up testing positive.

Also, a real medical rated mask and the proper training to use are nessecary. Most of the masks being sold outside medical supply channels are not rated, go read the fine print. They are only nuisance dust and mist masks.

N95 filters on the respirator yes. The N95 most folks talk about is that one with the metal bridge guard that you squeeze to match your face. That is the last thing you want to scent test lol. They're normally only used in home projects and dusty areas. It you're doing chemical handling, hazwop or anything more dangerous than blowing loose dust out of your attic, you need to consider upgrading to proper PPE :D

I made my first (and only) fursuit partial when I was in the navy and my ship was broken down for a couple months in Norfolk before the first furcon. A head, paws, and a tail. Wore it for Halloween party. Mailed it home after. My mom used it a couple times for school events. Mom was a music teacher. When I checked on it a couple years later it was full of mouse nest and mouse poops. It got thrown out then.

I know of few people who use industrial machines for suit stuff. Telephone uses a Juki machine that's usually used for sails on boats, and I plan on upgrading to one eventually. they just really expensive
